AI-ENABLED WORKFLOWS
Put the right work in motion. Give your people more room to do what they do best.
Your team has work that needs attention, judgment, and experience. We help you examine whether AI could support a defined step in the process—including routing information, summarizing material, drafting a routine response, and surfacing items for review. The goal is a practical fit for the way your business works, with people retaining meaningful judgment and responsibility.
Talk with us about a workflow ↗When routine steps take attention from important work
Information arrives, gets reviewed, sorted, passed along, and acted on. Some steps may be repetitive; others depend on context and human judgment. Start by understanding where a process gets stuck and what your people need from it.
Start with your workflow—not a model
AI-enabled workflows are a fit only when AI can support a defined step while people retain meaningful judgment and responsibility. AI is one possible tool, not the starting assumption. Consider the task, the people involved, and what a useful result would look like. The right fit might be a process change, existing software, conventional automation, an AI-assisted step, an agent, or no new technology.
Look for a defined step, not a reason to use AI
A useful starting point may be a recurring step that handles information, follows a clear pattern, or prepares work for a person to review. The question is not whether AI can be added. It is whether a defined use would make the workflow more useful, understandable, or manageable without moving important judgment out of human hands.
A clear path to a practical next step
- Understand the work. Map the task, handoffs, people involved, exceptions, and the parts that require judgment.
- Find the right kind of help. Consider whether AI fits a particular step, whether a rule-based or existing tool is better, and where people should stay involved.
- Evaluate what comes next. Agree how you will assess whether a practical next step is useful and appropriate for the workflow before deciding what follows.
Make technology support people—not sideline them
AI may help handle or surface information, but people bring the context and judgment that matter to the work. A well-considered workflow makes clear where AI assists and where a person reviews or decides. People remain central to decisions that need human understanding and accountability.
Choose the role AI should play
Depending on the task, AI may assist with a defined step or help coordinate steps within a process. It can be considered alongside conventional automation and existing business tools—not as a replacement for understanding the work or choosing the right approach.
The right role depends on the workflow, the information involved, the exceptions that matter, and where a person needs to review or decide.
